Roll Call - Councilor Jacobs, McNabb, Hunter, Dempsey, Mayor Carnicelli present.  

City Staff Present – John Salomone, City Manager; Corporation Counsel Thomas Leone, Corporation Counsel, City Clerk Debra McCormick; Bea O’Hora, Comptroller; Gary Giannotta, Police Chief.

Public Announcements – The Clerk read.

Mayor Carnicelli asked for Council’s consent to add Resolution # 149 to this agenda.  All agreed.

Work Session

Update on School Resource Officers Program
Police Chief Gary Giannotta and John Plume, Superintendent of Auburn Enlarged School District spoke to Council about the status and future of the SRO program.  

Year End Financial Update
City Manager John Salomone and Bea O’Hora, Comptroller, reviewed the City’s year end financial status.  Council discussed.

Other Business
Councilor Hunter requested an executive session to discuss the proposed sale of land.  Councilor Dempsey seconded.  Council adjourned to executive session at 6:20PM and returned at 6:25PM.

Land Sale Resolution #149 authorizing the mayor to execute any and all documents necessary of the transfer of 102 East Genesee Street to Michael G. Sinicropi.  VOTE: Councilor Jacobs, McNabb, Hunter, Dempsey and Mayor Carnicelli aye.  PASSED.


Public to be Heard –
Tim Lattimore, 7 Norman Ave. spoke to Council regarding the Sewer Fund and Bass Pro Shop.  He also asked Councilor Jacobs to debate him prior to the upcoming Republican primary for Mayor.  Mayor Carnicelli asked Mr. Lattimore to keep his comments during the public to be heard portion of Council meetings to City business topics.
Beth Horbal, Elm Street spoke to Council regarding funding offered in certain neighborhoods for curbing and sidewalks.  She asked why Elm Street is not eligible.  Mayor Carnicelli explained that CDBG funding is federal and guidelines for low income areas of the city are done by census tract.

Mary Brazee, Elm Street spoke to council about problems with sewer lines and cats.
